Jammu, Oct 27: Three persons including kin of former DyCM were arrested indulging in immoral activities with the daughter of a lady police officer by Channi Himmat Police in a raid during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday from an under construction building that belonged to one of the accused.
Sources informed that, the police received an anonymous phone call at 2 am revealing that three youth were indulging in immoral activities with a girl in under construction building in the area. Reacting to the input, a police team from Channi Himmat police station cracked down at the said building and arrested three boys and the girl.

Jammu, Oct 27: Allegations of nepotism and favouritism have again surfaced in the office of Relief Commissioner (migrant) Jammu in the verification of application forms received for allotment of flats for KP migrants. The Relief commissioner’s office has to allot around 650 flats to non-camp migrants in Jagti Satellite Township for which the office had received around 8000 applications. Sources said that only 2000 applications were verified and 6000 applications were put on hold in 2012. "Out of these 2000 applications 549 people were allotted flats but this allotment came under scanner when around 100 beneficiaries were found ingenuine," source said.
