Jehangir Rashid SRINAGAR, Sept 13: Congress councilor Asgar Ali Karbalai is all set to head the Kargil council of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) as the oath taking ceremony is scheduled to be held on September 15, Sunday. Importantly Karbalai's name has come up as unanimous choice to head the Kargil council. Sources told Early Times that all the formalities have been completed by Congress councilors for staking the claim to lead the Kargil council. The Congress party has already submitted the list of 15 councilors to Deputy Commissioner, Kargil to prove the majority and the oath taking ceremony is all set to be held on Sunday. Saahil Suhail Anantnag, Sept 13: Defying curfew in South Kashmir's Shopian district, locals especially youth took to streets in various localities and clashed with security forces.
