The holy cave of Amarnath is one of the Lord shiva's several abodes and pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave is an annual feature which starts on Vyas poornima and concludes on the day of Sharavan (Rakhi) Poornima. The curtailment by 15 days to this Annual yatra is unfortunate and I hope, the SASB will not hurt the sentiments of the millions of Hindus by curtailing this annual feature by 15 days....

5/11/2011 12:43:22 AM
Neha Jammu, May 10: The anger of the Dogras of Jammu province was never so palpable as it has been since April 28, when the NC-Congress coalition government disgraced the Dogra community by withdrawing the March 25 order on Dogra certificate, notwithstanding the fact that the revocation of the said order had in no way adversely affected them as they would continue to enjoy two relaxations in rules governing recruitment to the Indian Army. The issue was not that the state government withdrew the said order. The issue was the manner in which the state government did it. The state government did it creating an impression that it had no regards for the Dogra psyche. It is perception that matt...
