| | Fearing defeat Omar shying away from elections | | |
Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Oct 11: Fearing defeat, Omar Abdullah wants deferment of elections. The party has, true to its political DNA, has criticized the PDP for giving its consent on the elections.
National Conference is the only party which has told the Election Commission that elections shouldn't be held this time. The party has given strange logic that elections could affect the relief operations.
The excuse is reflection of desperation and contradic-tions in the party. The relief operation is being handled by the officials and all of them are not called for the election duties. The elections are conducted mainly by few officials with maximum strength being provided by the tea...

Jammu, Oct 11: Pakistan, which resorted to unprovoked firing on the LoC and IB and deep inside the Indian territories in Jammu and Kashmir on October 1, has been shown its rightful place both by the Indian political establishment and our dedicated, committed and chivalrous armed forces and paramilitaries. The Pakistani political and military establishments had never imagined that New Delhi would respond swiftly, appropriately and adequately to not only defeat their evil game plan in Jammu and Kashmir, but would also target the permanent defences inside Pakistan. They took India for granted on the basis of their past experience. They had perhaps come to believe that the BJP-led NDA G...
