EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu: The task of the BJP's Disciplinary Action Committee has become more difficult in taking further recourse of the proceedings it has initiated against susupended MLAs, notwithstanding the fact that four members given clean chit so far too have 'fallen in line' in so far as the fresh instructions are conerned. The four today left for New Delhi to appear before the panel which is holding its meeting tomorrow while as six in suspended camp have already declined the 'offer'. A day after this, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta too has 'declined' the offer in a tactical way contending he has so far been not 'provided the explanation' he sought from Disciplinary panel on the question of mearuing scales applied in declared him guilty of having voted against the party. EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 19: Police have arrested three students for allegedly pasting KZF posters in city's Bakshi Nagar and Pucca Danga areas. They were identified as Harpreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh, both residents of Shakti Nagar, and Rajesh Sharma of Gurah Salathia. Police sources said KZF posters, with "No compromise; only tha, tha, tha" scribbled on them, were found pasted in Bakshi Nagar and Pucca Danga areas. During probe, cops found that the posters had allegedly been pasted by Harpreet, Gagandeep and Rajesh, all students of Shri Ranbir Higher Secondary School, the sources added. EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 19: A patwari and a retired girdawar were today arrested by police at Bari Brahmana for allegedly tampering with the revenue record. Police sources said patwari Satish Kumar Sharma allegedly operated in connivance with ex-girdawar B L Koul from the latter's residence near Sarore bus stand. He had shifted revenue record of Birpur halqa, where he was at present posted, to Koul's residence, the sources added. A tipper fell into a gorge at Wani Morh in Mahore, Reasi, resulting in the death of labourers -- Bahadur Singh (30), son of Punjab Singh, and Charan Singh (22), son of Des Raj, both residents of Chajroo -- and injuries to driver Om Parkash Pandey of Sultanpur, UP, Muhammad Rafiq of Chajroo, Javaid Ahmed of Kansoori and Vir Singh of Chajrroo. Ghulam Qadir was alleged to have raped his brother-in-law's sister Sakina Begum, wife of Mohammad Sultan, at Dharwari Monday last and then gone underground.
